Assuming they encapsulate the installer in theirs (as opposed to modifying our installer), I think they are in the clear, unfortunately. They also do it for LICEcap (which is what I noticed), which is GPL (so there's little recourse). Hence, we (the internet) should just blackhole them. Comment...

Wrapping a ton of controls (for whatever toolkit you would be targeting) to function as their win32 equivalents. A lot of the legwork for this is done (in SWELL), just need someone with a lot of time on their hands, who knows Qt or GTK+ and win32, to do it. Comment...

I have no idea of the internals of realvideo, but nsv didn't include a codec, it was just a (streamable bitstream) container format. Comment...

Question: Have you ever noticed this? On the REAPER website, you write "A REAPER 2.0 license would have included over 100 free upgrades! " It DID include over 100 free upgrades, so use of the conditional "would" makes no sense. You mean that buying the license would have got you 100 free upgrades.
