Question:
Are you as committed to efficient coding as when you started REAPER or does laziness creep in? Do you perceive laziness in other apps/OS?

I'm definitely as committed to making things as small and simple as possible, but am also a bit less dedicated to some of the more platform-specific size optimizations (i.e. using msvcrt.dll on win32), as they are somewhat hacks. I think generally I'd aim for quality as the top priority, then speed and size, with tradeoffs between them generally going towards speed (for commonly used functions anyway).
