Question: I'm currently implementing oversampling in a VST3 using r8brain free. Is there an advantageous reason why your plugin oversampling in REAPER don't take effect unless you stop playback and replay then the oversampling activates?? Couldn't it have just worked on the fly once the user set the oversampling or is there a downside to doing that way using r8brain?

    It simplifies a lot of things to not have it change on the fly.

    we use CDSPResampler with the defaults, but we use an older r8brain free version

    Thank you so much. I'm done now. I now understand why people who don't use JUCE avoid adding oversampling control to their plugins, it is no joke implementing it. You've been very helpful. ;)

    Also, I was able to make the resampling change on the fly, but with a little pop/short drop-out (as it clears and recalculates) which I am okay with.
