Question: I was reading this article tinyurl.com/77cvnjh and when I reached the 3rd section about the abstract interface, REAPER's SDK came to mind. If I remember correctly you mention in the documentation that the SDK for win32 is compatible with MS C++ ABI only, and article states otherwise for this approach. Are you doing something more exquisite?

Not everything has changed, I guess. Day to day I use VS2013 and Xcode6 rather than VC6/Xcode3, though the latter are still used for some builds (along with ICC). Also for a laptop I have a 15" Retina Macbook Pro which I use a lot, rather than the Sony. Still have the C2D iMac and the C2Q desktop too. Comment...

Question: How do you detect which overlapped items to move when ripple editing all tracks? I'm thinking about the best way to detect chords in MIDI editor (to implement some kind of ripple editing for MIDI editor from SWS) but due to all imaginable real world situation (not all MIDI data has to be quantized exactly to the grid) it would be nice to hear how you (would) handle it

I often write notes, but usually the initial model is in my head. That mental model then changes as code as written, since it almost always evolves (writing code often eliminates complexity in some areas while finding other areas that are not as simple as the model had them, and so on).
