Question:
I had once start updating my laptop's bios without any intention. The installer came with my drivers. I didn't know what's that. Immediately my laptop restart and a black screen occurs with something written on it. I forced turned off my laptop. Then, when I turned on my laptop, nothing works, just a blank screen. It wasn't booting to Windows. I took it into ... I took it into service center and they replaced the motherboard (it was in warranty, fortunately). What mistake I did? How just a bios update and restart can damage my laptop's motherboard??? Anyway, I deleted that file, even knowing that file was with my laptop's drivers.

Probably it was turning the thing off while it was trying to update the BIOS which left the BIOS in a corrupted state...
