Question: What's your opinion of Wine (the compatibility layer) and Wine-based Vst bridges on Linux? Could them represent a real productive solution to the lack of plugins, at least is some cases? Or does it make sense to use Linux+Wine at all?

WINE is great, but native is more satisfying.

I agree! Unfortunately I can't find some good native amps sims, so wine is the only solution for now if I want to avoid dual boot
