Question: Is syncing audio threads 99% of the difficulty of writing REAPER?

Thread synchronization isn't usually difficult, sometimes you run into issues but it's rare (knock on wood). Most of the tedious work is UI and dealing with poorly-defined specs or specs that are not adhered to...
