Question: I'm learning C and the error messages not actually telling you what is actually wrong half the time is killing me. Any advice on getting better at this?

Question: Thanks! Do you think high-end laptops, like RMBP and X1 Carbon, are worth its price? They generally cost 2-3x of lower-end ones, so curious if their (claimed) high-qualitiness justify its obvious high cost.

I'm very happy with the RMBP (though it is the older pre-touchbar-era one, I got it a couple of years ago refurb off of woot or somewhere like that). Fast quad core and nice GPU and crazy fast SSD, mmm. The X1 I'm less impressed with (for the price). Comment...

I have a 2013 RMBP that I mostly use as a desktop with a Thunderbolt display and external kb/mouse. Also in use: a C2D Thinkpad X60 running Debian for Super8 sessions, a X1 Carbon (5th gen) for linux dev, and a ASUS C100P ARM chromebook (in dev mode) for travel. Comment...
