Question: What made you finally want to implement area selection into the current development branch?

We realized that the implementation could reuse a lot of existing complex logic (lowering the effort/result ratio to worthwhile levels).

Cool, reminds me of the time VCA got implemented very nicely within the grouping matrix. But, I guess Sexan did somehow influence you? :D
