Question: I'm comparing my renders from different Daws with same settings. When I make null test, phase difference between renders is around -70 db which is pretty low..I also can't hear any differences in my listening tests at different SPLs and on different systems. How can I make sure that other people also can't hear that, too? Is there a definiton for "inaudible by human ear" while comparing sound differences? Regards

Not sure, it probably depends a lot on what the -70dB is and what the signal is...

Question: I am a recent college graduate looking to get into the field of music technology. I have some experience with programming languages like JavaScript and Python, and am a musician. Would you have any advice on where to start? Thanks, David

Hard to say (it's been a long, long time since I was just starting out). Writing stuff in REAPER using JSFX and/or ReaScript can be very satisfying, though!

Question: TWO QUESTIONS : 1. If you were never been a programmer, and hence, no REAPER software would be there, then in which DAW you would be making music today? (Sony ACID was your former DAW, right? But that is too out-dated now). 2. Do open source softwares run better in Linux than in Windows or Mac?

Hard to say for #1, I don't use them now so how would I know? and for #2 I think it depends on the software!

Question: If I want lots of slow motions into my video, in which frame rate I must record my video?
Asked by Gold (182.68.69.x) on June 5 2020, 7:31am
Reply on June 5 2020, 6:24pm:
Depends on how slow you want to go! Normal is 30fps or so, so if you do 60fps that's good for half-speed, 120fps for quarter speed, etc.

Question: Whenever scammer bought the product and opened a paypal case without informing it to seller, Fast Spring refunds them and charge $20 from seller. Did you know that?
Asked by Hasaranga (104.248.147.x) on June 1 2020, 5:18pm
Reply on June 1 2020, 9:20pm:
Fraud/scammers are a problem with all payment methods unfortunately. We used to primarily use PayPal, but their lack of pre-purchase fraud filtering caused us to move (people seemed to be using PayPal purchases to test stolen credit card numbers, from what I could tell -- FastSpring at least prevents most of it from occurring in the first place, knock on wood).
