Question: Will this JSFX @gfx line format work in older REAPER versions like version 4: gfx_clear = 0xFF101010;

    yeah @gfx and gfx_clear go back to like REAPER 2.x or earlier, but 0xFF101010 might be problematic, could be a negative value. no need to specify an alpha channel value anyway.
