Question:
Thoughts on the state of audio plugin development? Stuff like JUCE seems overly complicated, but I'm also just stupid. JSFX is awesome but you can't output actual VSTs. I'd love to see an audio plugin API with the simplicity of something like raylib

JUCE definitely feels overly complicated to me... but I don't have any good alternatives!

You can take a look at CLAP (
cleveraudio.org/
. It is way less complicated than VST, tho still not as simple as raylib. Not all DAWs support it but you can wrap it as VST (
